Oh dear, the poor blog has suffered from neglect over the last month. To keep things short & sweet, I have been away, first of all in the Loire valley biking with the beloved Chook, in what turned out to be an active & greedy tour of the region.
Ensuite, I went off to Greece with Laura & Souzana, my friends & collegues from European studies (and what a fine example of European relations we are- Brit, French & Greek), for a week of beach, sun & Greek food (Mmmmh) in Souzaa's beautiful residences in Athens & Paros (island in the Cyclades). This holiday had the interesting backdrop of national catastrophe as most of the south of the country burned...
More on these holidays, with the pictures to match when I find the time, i.e. not right now. Indeed, the rentrée is here, and yours truly needs to get her act in to gear!
